The patient isolation and transportation chamber or PETE is used to transport patients with respiratory infections such as Covid-19, influenza, and tuberculosis. The chamber has a filtration efficiency of 99.995%, is easy to store, and can be used with ambulances and to take patients for CT scans. The chamber has a compartment for performing surgery and inserting medical lines for critically ill patients. The chamber is made from readily-available materials and parts. PETE has already satisfied medical safety standards and has been registered on the Thai innovation list.
